Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Skool Video Downloader (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. The Service

The Extension is a Chrome browser extension provided by Tailsgate Studios ("we", "our", "us") that helps you download video content you already have access to on Skool. A free tier and a paid "Pro" tier are offered, including a one-time "Lifetime License" option in place of the recurring monthly subscription.

3. What "Lifetime License" Means

A Lifetime License is a one-time payment, in lieu of a recurring subscription, that unlocks Pro features for as long as Tailsgate Studios continues to develop, distribute, and support the Extension. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Extension as a supported product — it is not a guarantee measured against your own lifetime, and it is not a promise that the Extension, Skool, or any platform it depends on (Loom, Vimeo, YouTube, Wistia) will exist or keep working forever.

• •If we discontinue the Extension, or it stops working because Skool or one of the video platforms it depends on changes in a way we can't reasonably keep up with, your Lifetime License ends along with it. You are not entitled to a refund for the remaining "lifetime" beyond the refund window in Section 7.
• •A Lifetime License covers the Pro feature set that exists at the time of your purchase, plus updates and bug fixes we choose to ship, at our discretion, for as long as the Extension remains active. It does not obligate us to build any specific future feature.
• •We may change pricing, plans, or features for new customers at any time without affecting the access already granted to existing Lifetime License holders.

4. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Skool, Loom, Vimeo, YouTube, and Wistia can change at any time in ways that break detection or downloading, and we make no promise that any given video, format, or platform will remain supported.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailsgate Studios and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

6. Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to access and download any content through the Extension, and for complying with Skool's own Terms of Service and the rights of the creators whose content you download. The Extension is intended for personal backups of content you have legitimately purchased or been granted access to. You agree to indemnify and hold Tailsgate Studios harmless from any claim arising out of your use of downloaded content or your violation of these Terms or a third party's rights.

7. Refunds

If the Extension doesn't work for your use case, contact support within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Beyond that window, refunds are granted at our discretion — for example, if a Lifetime License is rendered unusable by our own discontinuation of the Extension shortly after purchase.

8. Changes to the Extension or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Extension after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tailsgate Studios' place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
